Easy Earring Cards Double Post Punch and Jewelry Packaging Tutorial

It’s been a wild ride for the month of February, with all the Valentine craft fairs, teaching beading classes, a massive water leak in our home, and the YouTube monetization issue. (Thank you all again for supporting me in making the new goal at my channel)! I did, however, have some time to make actual jewelry and further explore a handy jewelry making tool for the purpose of a quick product review.

Easy Earring Cards Double Post Punch Review

Before I begin the tutorial, this is a sponsored product review. I did, however, purchase a set of punches from Easy Earring Cards prior to approaching them for a potential partnership opportunity. I discovered their company while performing a search for new ways to help me display my jewelry back before I began my new entry into the craft fair scene. These punches have been invaluable to my branding and jewelry packaging.

Project Supplies

  • 5×7 Cardstock in coordinating pattern to earrings or occasion
  • Double Post Hole Punch
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scoring board/ bone folder
  • Scissors/ craft edge scissors
  • Corner rounder
  • Embellishments of choice (shown are rhinestone stickers and glitter glue)
  • Clear earring stoppers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Using a paper trimmer, cut four 5×7 pieces from a 12×12 piece of cardstock.
  2. Either fold one 5×7 card in half by hand with a bone folder or scoring board.
  3. Punch earring holes at the top right of the card by using the double post hole punch.
  4. Decorate outside of card according to your desired embellishments.
  5. Hang earrings from the holes inside the card.
  6. Pop on clear earring stoppers to backs of earrings to avoid slippage during shipping in the mail or transporting to the recipient.
