Made to Order vs. Pre-Made

Check a listing carefully to understand if a product is pre-made and ready to ship or if the product is ordered before it is handmade.

Both are handmade but the pre-made is shipment ready while the made-to-order products take 5-7 days to be created for you (May take up to 3 weeks for resin photo jewelry pieces, other custom designed graphics or specialty requested supplies).

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

Care for your new product(s) by:

  • General Care
    • Over time, fine jewelry can become a treasured family heirloom if it is cared for properly. Dust, pollution and daily wear all conspire to cloud the brilliance of semi and precious gemstones. The surface of gold, platinum and silver jewelry can become dulled. Timeworn prongs and clasps can result in the loss of a stone or an entire piece of jewelry.
    • Professional cleanings are recommended as often as once a year.
  • Leather Care
    • Leather: External elements such as excessive heat or moisture can affect the overall look of your accessory. Following proper care and storage guidelines will ensure the longevity of this exceptional product. When not in use, store your item in the protective dust bag
    • Suede: The rawness of suede makes it a unique but delicate material.If stain or color transfers occur, use a soft brush to gently rub the affected area. Remove dry stains and marks from suede by gently rubbing a clean pencil eraser on the affected area. For wet stains, lay a paper towel on top of stain to absorb most of the liquid. Do not apply any kind of stain remover or other products.
  • Sterling Silver
    • The First Rule Of Silver Care
      • Sterling silver tarnishes, especially when exposed to salt air and products containing sulfur, such as rubber bands and some papers. However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care, so I strongly encourage you to use or wear your silver every day.
    • Washing Silver
      • I recommend washing silver by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. Because many food acids and gases in the air can have a corrosive effect, we suggest that you wash your silver immediately after use.  To avoid spotting, it is important to dry your silver immediately after washing.
    • Polishing Silver
      • Use a quality brand silver polish. Some “dip” polishes contain harsh chemicals and should be avoided. Electrolytic cleaning (aluminum foil, salt and baking soda in a water base) is not recommended.
      • Begin by using a soft cloth or sponge to apply the polish. Rub each piece gently but firmly lengthwise, using straight, even strokes. You may use a small brush (like a toothbrush with natural bristles) for decorative trim or borders. Wash in sudsy water, being sure to remove all the polish. Rinse well in warm water, dry thoroughly and buff gently with a soft cloth.
    • Special Considerations
      • An “oxidized” finish is the deliberate blackening of crevices in the ornamentation of a silver object to make its decorative details stand out more clearly. Take care as this finish can be removed by overzealous cleaning and polishing.
    • Storing Silver
      • Once cleaned and polished, silver must be kept dry and properly stored. Flannel bags will protect it from abrasion and offer a degree of tarnish prevention.
      • Bags made of “Pacific” cloth are also very effective in preventing tarnish.
      • When storing flatware in flannel rolls, be sure it is absolutely dry. If the climate is humid, place a small packet of de-moisturizing crystals (e.g., silica gel) inside the roll.

Your product(s) can be damaged if:

  • Take care to protect your jewelry from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.
  • Enamel can also chip or scratch when struck.
  • Avoid stacking rings and bracelets that would be vulnerable to such abrasion.
  • Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning and household chemicals can also damage jewelry.

Size charts

Please use our size chart to prevent errors in ordering.

  • Bracelets:
    • Wrist sizing: Measure your wrist in inches by wrapping a flexible ruler or tape measure around it. If you prefer a bangle type fit, consider adding ¼” to your wrist measurement before selecting a size. To determine adult bracelet size, measure your wrist with a flat, flexible tape measure just below the wrist bone (below the bone is after your wrist bone, towards your hands), where you would place your wrist watch. Measure your wrist towards your hand where the bracelet would fall if your arm was hanging by your side. Measure your wrist snugly. To get the proper bracelet length, add:
      • 1/4″ – 1/2″ for a link bracelet, or one with small beads (less than 4mm);
      • 1/2″ – 1″ for a bracelet with medium beads (4mm-8mm); and
      • 1″ – 1 1/2″ for a bracelet with chunky beads (greater than 8mm).

*NOTE:  On our product pages, we tell you BOTH the length of the bracelet AND the best wrist size for the bracelet.  If you know your wrist size, you’ll know if the bracelet will fit you. 

When in doubt, order a 7″ (18 cm) (link) and 7.5″ (19 cm) (beaded) bracelet which is the typical size for most women. This is approximate sizing and not a guarantee of perfect sizing.

Shipping Timeline

Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product may still need 5-7 days up to 3 weeks to be handmade.


Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange unless due to defective stringing material up to 90 days from purchase.

Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective, as you will receive proofing opportunities along the creation process and will approve it before shipment.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
