- Create a Halloween-themed video with an element of sparkle to it.
- Tag @SparkleByMonica in the video description and on social media platforms that you use to promote your video.
- Use #SpookySparkles in the YouTube video title, tags & description.
- Refer to participating channels &/ or my Spooky Sparkles 2021 playlist.
- RSVP to Sparkle by Monica by 9/26/21 to get added to the spreadsheet.
- Pre-schedule to premiere your video for noon EST on Sunday, 10/10/21.
- Add your video to the Spooky Sparkles Collab 2021 playlist with Sparkle by Monica.
- After your video premieres, please visit the other participating channels and engage with their content.
- There will also be a simultaneous Facebook Watch Party happening when our videos are premiering, so please consider sharing that with your Facebook friends, too.

Some Spooktacular Suggestions
Your video doesn’t have to be a jewelry making or craft tutorial, but it does need to be Halloween-themed and have a sparkly element about it. A glittery makeup look, shimmery costume, sparkly home decor, spooky snacks or crazy cocktails are all spooktacular ideas. I’m sure you will “thrill me with your acumen” of scary yet sparkle-tastic selections.
This year, participants aren’t required to make a video clip, but if you do complete yours early and are able to either share your video thumbnail or at least get me a project snapshot by September 30th, I’ll incorporate that in my little animated promos leading up to the video watch party on 10/10/21. Thumbnail is totally optional though.
Spooktacular Watch Party 10/10/2021 at Noon EST
You may add your video to my Spooky Sparkles Collab 2021 YouTube playlist, as I’ll have it set up with “collaborate” permissions. All videos will need to be pre-scheduled for a premiere at noon [12:00 PM] EST on Sunday, October 10, 2021. I will be running a simultaneous watch party on Facebook which will also feature all the videos saved in the playlist of those that RSVP to my invitation. So you may share that with your friends and family as well.
As with all collabs, it’s nice to visit everyone’s video who is participating in the collab either individually or via the playlist. Watch their sparkle-rific video, leave them a comment and a thumb’s up so that you can support a fellow creator and have that friendship reciprocated. I love seeing all the various ideas each of us has had in previous Halloween collaborations. The spooky sparkles themes are never disappointing.
