Memory Wire Jewelry Making Party Package
A creative jewelry making activity that everyone will enjoy. During this Memory Wire Jewelry Making Party, students are taught to make a continuous coiled wrap style bracelet or a necklace with matching earrings using glass beads, semi-precious stones and pearls.
Memory wire is a hardened and specialized bead stringing wire that holds its shape and is most convenient for jewelry making. This type of component also allows ease of design and wear because there are no tricky clasps involved. Just wrap and go! (Optional necklace extenders are available for $3.00). Charms will also be available.
Participants are encouraged to lay out their design on the necklace /bracelet bead board tray while the instructor teaches them how to size and arrange the components. Each person’s jewelry design will be unique.
Let’s not forget the guys! Stones and findings will include some gender neutral colors as well as wood and bone beads upon request.
Once everyone completes their jewelry project, we will have a group photo shoot (optional).
Beading Benefits of a Memory Wire Jewelry Making Party
Beading is known to improve fine motor, visual perceptual, and cognitive skills by promoting design decision making, increasing visual memory, enhancing eye-hand coordination and hand muscle strength. The benefits of beading are as plentiful as my bead stash, however, it is also a relaxing and social activity. This is also a great way to bring together some teen time with older kiddos that feel they are too cool for traditional parties. No one is too cool for sparkles!

The Memory Wire Jewelry Making Party package includes 2 hours of fun plus:
- beading materials to make a coiled bracelet or necklace with matching earrings
- metal charms
- jewelry making tools
- custom invitations
- coordinating organza jewelry drawstring pouches or neutral bags for each participant
Price
$18.00 per person with a minimum of 5 students. For 6 participants or more, only $16.00 per sparkly student.
Additional travel fee is required.
