Here’s last year’s cardmaking project where I mixed jewelry making with several of my scrapbooking supplies to create a cool Mother’s Day workshop. We made a lovely pair of rose themed earrings with a stand-up vase that also doubled as a way to gift the earrings.

This year, I didn’t have time to make any Mother’s Day goodies, but I did want to share with you a few cool DIY bling projects from Fire Mountain Gems. The following list has a few neat options to make and give to your mom, friend moms or even yourself!
The sweet little box is a sparkle-tastic way to give your handmade and/or store bought gift to mom. Especially if you’re like me and have a ton of scrapbook paper and crystals that you’d like to do turn into something beautiful.
